Is this for WordPress only?

Yes. We believe WordPress to be the platform of choice. It has enormous strength and flexibility. This course is not suitable if you are using any other platform (e.g WordPress.com, Wix, Weebly, Squarespace etc). But if you are planning to move your website from one of the previously mentioned platforms or other platforms such as Joomla, Drupal or other, or simply just planning to build a new website (perhaps even your very first), then this course is perfect for you.

How is the training delivered and how do I access it?

The entire course is online and rests within an easy to navigate training portal.
Each training module is delivered with one week intervals from the moment you are signed up. Follow along, ask questions, or simply watch now and create your website later.
The training is divided into natural modules that follow congruent path and that makes for easy navigation, when you wish to re-visit certain training areas that you are in need of.

How long do I have access to the member ares for?

Again, you are guaranteed at least 12 months in the actual training portal. Once we establish a Facebook members area, then you will have access to that for as long as it is active and for as long as members actively engage with each other.

What support will there be after the 12 months?

If we establish the mentioned Facebook group, you will have access through that for as long at the group is active. Such Facebook groups can be very valuable and the collective support and knowledge that gets shared there can be of huge help. In addition, you can extend your access to our member area after your initial period has finished for a low monthly investment.

Is it easy?

Pretty much all new things have a learning curve. This course is the course I wish I had when I started out learning how to build and create my websites. How long will I have access to the training portal?

You will have access to the training portal for at least 12 months following your sign up. We may at some point change the portal for another, but if that should be the case, you will have access to such new portal. Once you try building a website, you'll probably be creating more and then it will be valuable to you to go and revisit the training. Also from time to time, there may be specific areas of website building that you will need to revisit and then it will be helpful to you also.

What support will I get During the training course?

During the 12 months following your sign up, you will have access to me via email and via the training portal.
Also should we decide to establish a Facebook group, you will have access to my assistance there as well as the help and insights gained from other students.
We will establish a Facebook group once there's enough member who are actively engaging to make it useful. Facebook groups are really only useful when member are actively engaging with each other.

How long are the training videos?

The videos are as long as it takes to thoroughly show and teach what is being demonstrated. If a subject is quickly handled the video is brief, but if the subject requires a bit more in depth, it is longer. Our emphasis is to help you advance fast, easy and in a congruent manner.

What theme will you train on in the course and are there more than one?

The course is based on WordPress platform and themes. We are not focusing on any specific theme and one of the strengths of the platform is that most of the knowledge you will gain is universal for use with all kinds of WordPress themes.
In truth there are themes that are easier and more flexible to work with than others. These usually make the task more fun to carry out too. Especially in the bonus section of the program will we look at themes that we like the most.
The more we work with websites, the more we find particular themes that hold many benefits over most others. We will share these insights to awesome themes with you on a continuous basis, as we get to know of them.

Does the course include any themes or do I need to buy a theme?

No. We include no themes in the course. Tastes vary from person to person and so does the look and feel that each individual is looking for. People also have their own preferences as to which theme they like to work with more than others. When we suggest a theme from time to time, it's mostly out of our personal favorites and has much to do with how user friendly the theme is. How flexible and easy it is to work with and the functionalities that it offers you.
As mentioned previously, there can be a great discrepancy on how easy a theme is to work with.

How quickly can I have my website up and running?

You can in fact get up and running in a day. Building and creating a website is often an ongoing process, with tweaks and adjustments. The training course takes you in congruent manner and ensures that you will gain some of the most important insights along the way to ensure that you not only can create your own professionally looking website, but that it will actually also perform well.
Remember the course is build up around 6 full modules that are released week by week. Certainly after the entire training course you will be well able to have your website up and running, but like I said, you can actually get your first presence up during the first day.

What if I want to use a different theme than what is used in the video?

Again, the WordPress platform training holds universal insights that you can usually use across most WordPress themes. Most of the training videos in the first modules focuses on the standard WordPress theme that comes free with your installation. But themes are the way to go for sure and we actually favor premium themes. Themes vary greatly, but as long as they are based on the WordPress platform, you will find this course useful. There are themes that require a bit more coding than others and we usually try to avoid too much of that as our course is mostly directed to those who wish to learn how to build their own websites, yet have no wish to learn too much technicalities and coding.

Are there any other costs that I should know about?

To have your own website on your own domain (URL), you will need to purchase a domain name (your URL) and you will need a place of hosting. Of course you can have your domain and URL with WordPress.com, but we suggest and recommend strongly to have your own self-hosted domain. Don't worry, self-hosted in this case doesn't mean a website hosted on your own server at home, but with a hosting service. Again, you will not be required to learn too much high technicalities in order to have success with the course.
From time to time, we may also suggest you consider certain themes, plugins or other tools and resources that may come at a price. But these are not pre-requisites, but are more resources that we love ourselves or see great benefits in.

I'm not very technical, will I need to learn coding?

No! I have placed great emphasis from the get go to make the training accessible for all people and especially for those who do not really wish to learn too much technicalities let alone code.
I'm a business owner myself and that's where my focus is just like that's where your focus needs to be. However, I have paid too much money over the years for other to build my websites and was still left standing with inflexible position of not being able to tweak them or update them.
That's why I learned to do it myself and that's what I will teach you here in the training course too. You will be able to create a beautiful, business ready website, when you go through the course and you will need to learn pretty much no coding to make it happen.
I have included one module that has some of the more technical aspects of things, but they are not necessarily a requirement for you to build and create your awesome website.

I'm not a designer so how can I ensure my site looks awesome?

Well, here's where the multitudes of great looking themes come in. These help you tremendously to ensure that your website can end up looking really wonderful, beautiful and awesome.
Do not expect, however, that when you see a demo site, that your site will look just like that as soon as you install it onto your domain. Indeed, this is one of the first rude awakenings I personally had when I was introduced to web-building. But this is where the training course will be of great help to you.
